Tutus For Cancer
Everyone knows someone who has been affected by this horrible disease. A few summers ago I met little girl who was recovering from cancer. While she was in the hospital she would ask her parents if she could still go to dance class. She would come to class every week while receiving chemotherapy and dances her little heart out with a huge smile on her face. Seeing her smile just melted your heart.
When I was six years old my neighbor and friend died from Leukemia. We used to dress up, wear her wigs and dance in her living room. To me putting those wigs on was fun, like playing dress up. Little did I know how devastating it really was to lose your hair and feel sick from medication.
Tutu’s for Cancer is a way to bring a bit of happiness to little girls who dream of being a princess and want to go to dance class. We deliver our princess party packs to children that are fighing this horrible disease. Our party pack has everything you need to play dress up.
We would like to raise money to donate tutu’s, crowns and magic wands to the children in the cancer ward at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP). Every little girl deserves to feel like a princess. Please contact us if you would like to help.
We are proud to be a partner in hope benefiting St. Jude’s Research Hospital
